Question by selson s: What is an SAOG in Oman ?
I have noticed that many companies in Oman have SAOG attached to its name. Does it have anything to do with holding structure of the company ?
I am looking at what does SAOG signify. Not the acronym.

It has some thing to do with company’s holding structure. I want to know what type of holding structure does and SAOG have.

SAOG = Société Anonyme Omanaise Générale (Oman)

edit: A S.A. is share company/a public limited company a public limited company and can be differentiated from partnerships and limited liability companies.
