Question by red: Renewing Dubai visit visa by exiting to Oman?
Salam,
Since new law about visit/tourist visa started (yesterday), do you know if people have been exiting to Oman, or any country of the region, and have been delivered an other visa on arrival?
What about people holding passports from UK, France, Canada, etc?

Regarding your question no clear answer can be found these days neither in the press nor on the net, unless that also for “exempted” countries visit visas are no more renewable.
On the “exempted” group of countries there are no official information if Dhs 1.000 needs to be paid (mostly not), no information for how long a visitor has to stay outside the country and for how many times he/she can come back.
Seems that all this got regulated only for nationalitis who have to apply for a visa to the UAE in advance.
