if you travel by oman air then you will get free transit in muscat.The cost may be between 12000 to 15000 Rs. depending on the season and from which part of india you are flying from.

Planning to travel to UAE or Oman do it soon to avoid hot summer here.
If you are a USA citizen then you can get a visa at the airport in UAE or Oman. Otherwise, you need to check with consulate as citizens from certain countries do need to obtain a visa in advance.
Air ticket cost differ depending on carrier and which city exactly you are travelling from.
If you are looking for direct flights to your destination (less no of stop overs) then follow this;
- If travelling to Oman then better to travel by Oman air (www.omanair.aero)
- If travelling to UAE, there are two options;
+ Travelling to Dubai – Emirates Airline (www.emirates.com)
+ Travelling to Abu Dhabi – Etihad Airways (www.etihadairways.com)
Definitely there are other carriers that might be cheaper or more convenient depending on where you are travelling from.
