Please can any one help us we (family) with resident visa of UAE wish to visit Sohar/Mascat oman by road from Abu Dhabi what is the best route? do we need oman visa? aor any kind of insurance? we have our own car? what time it takes on road from abu dhabi to sohar? we have to go via fujairah or Al ain? which is the best????? Please help ASAP

I recomend you get an armored Humvee or a escort.
I really think you are crazy if you are going to go that route. As for insurance ,forget it no company would touch you.

will when I went with my family we went through Al Ain. and we as Emarates didn’t need Visa but I don’t know about you.
