Public discussion leaves fate of Honey Lake uncertain
HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP — The possibility of removing Honey Lake Dam and draining the lake it created seemed increasing likely during a public meeting Wednesday night as neither New Jersey, Mercer County or Hopewell Township expressed any willingness to share costs with the federal government to upgrade the aging dam.
