Is it possible to have a consistently good internet connection in Muscat, Oman?

Question by bluewatertraveller: Is it possible to have a consistently good internet connection in Muscat, Oman?
I am thinking of moving there, and will need constant internet access. I have heard that internet connections there can be very slow or non existent. Is this true?
