Question by leiagh: is 00 enough as a salary to work in oman?
am a filipina engineer and offered to work in muscat oman as a site engineer (as agreed) with $ 1000 as a salary. with free accommodation, like house and transportation but food is not included.. could be my salary enough to cover my expenses? please let me know the cost of living in oman.. or should my salary worth the job?

That is around 400 Rial Omani. If your accommodation, transportation is taken care of and annual flight home is covered, you require around 40-80 Rial Omani a month for food. Plus consider the bonus . If that is good enough you make a decision.
