Question by DJ: Iam travelling from China to Oman, on 2 different airlines, Shenzhen-Singapore-Dubai is on SG airlines,?
Which reached DUBAI at 0315hrs and I have my next flight on OMAN air at 6am, Singapore airlines here in China informed me that I would have to collect my bags at Dubai Airport, Can I collect bags without the visa? or I have to go through Immigration?

Luggage claim is always between Immigration and customs. If you do not belong to one of the 33 nationalities who are able to obtain a visa up on arrival, you have to approach the Marhaba Service for a transit visa unless the same can be provided by the Airline itself. Costs of the transit visa are AED 100.
