I hold passport from chennai and now shifted to Mumbai. Wether i can do ECNR in Mumbai if im travelling oman?

Iam moving chennai on family visa and for 2 month , wether ECNR will be required ? And can be done in Mumbai if i have made it at chennai
If yes can anybody guide me with location. In passport ECNR is there.
Can anybody guide me with location where ECNR can be done in Mumbai.

    Check your passport if it has Emigration Check Required. If its there than you need to get ECNR done before you go to Oman. You can get the ECNR done at Mumbai even if the passport is issued in Chennai.
