How much is the visa fees for Oman for working visa?

I want to go to Oman for the job. The person hiring me tells me that it will cost me @ 250 OMR. Is he right or wrong?

Do not send anyone money for a visa fee. If the job offer is legitimate you can pay when you arrive to start the job. If they want you to wire them money then it’s a scam.

I spent almost a year in Oman. It’s not the far-end of the Earth, but you can see it from there.
