Does anybody have any experience of working in Sur, Oman?

I have been offered a job at the Sur private hospital. Can anybody guide me regarding the life in Sur? Is it very secluded and boring?

    It is a small coastal town , was hit by cyclone a couple of years ago.

    Sur is roughly 3-4 hrs drive from Muscat and is a small town. The only worthwhile nearby are the turtles at Ras Al Hadd. It would be extremely boring and secluded to live in Sur.
