Question by sam: converting visit visa to an employement visa in oman?
Got one offer from oman the employer calling me on visit visa and says that when i will arrive at oman they will covert my visiting visa to employement visa.
kidly any one tell me is it possible and safe ?/

Ideally you should move to Oman only on work visa. The companies in Oman do ask people to come in visit visa and then conver to work visa. Its possible and can be done but better avoided. The company can get the work visa done in 2 weeks and I dont know why they are not doing it. At least ask them if they have the work permit for employing an expat to that position
